Our mission is to restore wildlife habitat via sustainable local food systems.
This five-lined-skink was found while planting out a plum grove on a swale system installed near the Platte River - in Saunders County.

of an uncompromising
defense of Mother Earth.
Growing up, I could not settle on a career that didn’t fully align with my principles.
It took many years of trial and error to come to the conclusion that the best way to leverage power back to the people is by ‘seizing the means’ as they say, by re-establishing wild foods to our local biome.
There are many reasons to plant native, precolonial staples that were once abundant across Turtle Island. Some of these very special plants are considered critical ‘keystone species’ that hold up the foundations of the Web of Life.
One of the most important reasons to plant native is that these vital indigenous food systems were purposefully removed from the landscape during colonization. This was done because they needed to break the autonomy of the first people here in order to make them dependent on the emerging industrial agricultural systems...
The moment food became stored under lock and key was the moment division of labor was created.
If we want to truly be free, a great place to start is by reconnecting with the land, and rebuilding our ecosystems to their former glory.

Lawns!
Our industrial food systems are failing……..
False scarcity will slip into actual scarcity here soon, if we dont make significant changes.
We need climate adaptive agricultural systems now! It is time to re-learn our indigenous ancestors’ wisdom.
